Paige DeSorbo Reveals How She Designed Craig Conover's House

The Summer House cast member shared new details about her Southern Charm boyfriend's renovated home.

As you can see in the video above, Paige DeSorbo's chic New York City apartment features a black-and-white color palette with pops of pink. In an August 24 Amazon Live, the Summer House cast member shared new details about her gorgeous home, including how her boyfriend, Craig Conover, influenced her interior design choices.

“I'm definitely an ivory and black, grays, kind of person... I tried to decorate [so] that if my boyfriend ever did full-time move into this apartment, he wouldn't feel like, ‘Oh my god, this is a girl’s apartment,’" said Paige. "I feel like I've done a good job of keeping it neutral but still keeping it very me and very girlie.”

Paige also took the lead when it came to picking out the furniture and decor of Craig's newly renovated Charleston home. As she explained during the Amazon Live, she took a "similar, yet different" approach to the interior design of Craig's house.

"I wanted it to be all light and bright colors, but it is more on the neutral side," she said. "I did add in a lot of green and blue, but they're like muted greens. He has no black at all. My one rule was that in his house… I didn't want any black in Charleston. I just felt like black and white is very New York, very northeast. I didn't want it to feel the exact same down there."

"So, we went full color down there…but still [included] ivories," she continued. "I made him get a white couch, which he just spilled cherries on the other day, and so we're not speaking. It's a whole thing over there. But yes, his is very different because it's just a different vibe down there…I wanted it to be a little more preppy. [My apartment] is a little more chic.”

It does seem Paige made one exception to her "no black" at Craig's house rule. Back in January, Paige shared via Instagram Stories that she was having a "home improvement day" at Craig's place and was hard at work in one of his bathrooms, which, she noted, is "really my bathroom.”

Pointing to the bathroom vanity, Paige explained, “The tiles are black and white, but this was gray, so I want to paint that black.”

“Then these shelves were gray, and then I painted them black,” she continued. “I think it looks sick, but I don’t really know what I’m doing. You can just watch so many TikTok videos to learn how.”
